Angela’s Design Services specializes in creating new WordPress content management websites. My primary expertise is in GoDaddy hosted WordPress websites.
WordPress accounts for 22% of all websites found online. Over 60% of all content management sites are based on WordPress. Which is why I’ve chosen it as my key website development platform. Not only is it more cost-effective than standard web design, but it is also easier for you to manage your site yourself as needed.
I’m delighted that my platform of choice keeps up with modern technology and website features, it is on the cutting edge on all fronts.

Consultation & Quote
You will have a consultation with me that includes project objectives: Initial informal discussions – covering project objectives, technical aspects, logistics, timing and budget.
Formal meetings will take place to discuss your project in detail and clarify any technical issues including budget, timetable, and corporate identity guidelines, and creative goals.
After your meeting with me, a quote will be provided (via email).
Research
Getting the right amount of details and having a clear understanding of a client’s vision and goals from the beginning is the most important factor when designing a new website or a redesign. Rounds of revisions, phases of work, and testing will be conducted on an online test server. This is where the meter starts running as designers get paid for their thinking time as well as production time.
Site Development
New Site Development
I create new websites with Content Management Systems (CMS) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_management_system) such as WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, or Wix using a hosting provider such as GoDaddy, BlueHost, or Network Solutions. These CMSs are managed by these companies which means they handled the back-end coding (HTML, PHP JQUARY & CSS) and updates. Once a theme is chosen by the client for the website I will make minor adjustments to the CSS style sheet to change the look (colors & fonts). I add plugins to change/enhance functionality. No hand coding is needed with these types of sites and they are extremely user and mobile-friendly.
Site Redesign Development
I redesign existing sites in the same way by creating a new/beta site with a temporary domain. With existing websites, I do not work with the client’s existing web platform or hosting provider unless they already have a managed WordPress site hosted by GoDaddy, BlueHost, or Network Solutions. Your new site is hosted and created either on your or my GoDaddy account. Once the new site has been approved the old website and hosting provider account is canceled (by the client).
Site Review
I will email you a link to your beta site for review and you either approve the site to go live, or discuss edits/changes you’d like to make.
Following your review and feedback, I amend the website as necessary and notify you the changes have been made. Final approval is required before the site goes live.
Go Live & Testing
“Beta Testing” review of the website and final testing before the launch of the site takes place. Following your final approval, the site goes live.
Final Revisions & Changes
After testing, up to two rounds of revisions and corrections are made. The final balance is invoiced (via PayPal).
Hosting & Domain Transfer
Once the new site has been approved, has gone live, tested and final revisions have been made; the old website and hosting provider account is canceled (by the client). The domain is then transferred to the new site.
