Journey to Christ

My journey to Christ is a long and winding road. I was born into a Catholic family in name only. At the age of 10 my mother said I didn’t have to go to church anymore and it was clear she did not believe in God or Jesus Christ. But I remember always believing in God and Jesus.

So at the age of 10 I began my around the world tour of various religious and spiritual beliefs. From wiccan, buddhist, agnostic, to the new age. In 2010, I said the sinner’s prayer and I almost heard the cloud of witnesses in heaven celebrating.

I then tried merging new age beliefs with Christianity, calling myself a New Age Christian which yes, this is a thing. I believe that the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ slowly steered me away from this belief system and lead me to true Christianity.

Then in November of 2020, I felt the Holy Spirit call me to the Narrow Way. Holy Spirit called me to get into the Word and read the Bible from start to finish. To find teachers of sound Biblical doctrine and to find a local or online church.

I have done all these things and I’m loving the journey. I’m amazed how the Bible is an endless well of teaching, knowledge and living water. I thank God for not giving up on me!
