About Angela

From crayons to graphic and web designMy Story

Hi, my name is Angela and I’m a design enthusiast and since childhood, I have been artistic and I was always creating something. I remember using the shavings from crayons instead of coloring with the crayons to create a piece of artwork. This artistic drive stayed with me through high school into adulthood. So it was only natural for me to pursue a career where I could be artistic.

The art of visual communication has become a huge passion of mine since transitioning from traditional artist to graphic and web designer. Visual communication is a compelling lens through which I view my natural surroundings and is my creative outlet. I have been working as a graphic/web designer (in-house, freelance, and agency) for over ten years. My skills cover everything from print design, logo design, Html e-mail campaigns, packaging design, product photography, typography, digital illustration, social media design, UX/UI website design, to production work. I enjoy working on a variety of different design projects.

Throughout my career, I have established a track record of success by leveraging a positive collaborative style to accomplish all short and long-range objectives. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communications and have a career history of juggling multiple major projects from conception to completion.

Things I love to doMy Hobbies

I love art of visual communications but I also love a few other things. I love getting outdoors and hiking around. I also really enjoy traveling and camping. From deserts to the mountains, I enjoy many different types of environments. I find that I am inspired, healed and rejuvenated after getting out in nature.

I also love to meditate and read when I have time. I enjoy the art of crochet and jewelry making as well. A more recent hobby is creating t-shirt designs for myself that align with my spiritual beliefs. Check out my store here.

Creatively telling your company's storyMy Goal

My ultimate goal is to obtain a long-term, full-time Graphic Designer, Web Designer or Production Artist position with a company, college or organization that is actively working to make the world a better place. I’m also open to freelance work. Confident that my qualifications will meet and exceed your expectations, I greatly look forward to discussing open positions in detail. Feel free to contact me about any opportunities you may have.
